As it is just a PSB you will have job security but the office politics is so terrible you will some how loose your mind.

Most of the customers of Assam Gramin Vikash Bank are village people and they are cultivators and agricultural workers, village women etc. who produce foods for us. I think , I am very lucky one and so get a chance to work for them as a banker and as well as a teacher of banking procedures which help them to run self help groups to improve their economic condition. I am proud of the fact that before computerization, being an officer of accounts department of erstwhile Subansiri Gaonlia Bank I devoted myself fully to reconcile SGB General account which was lying pending for reconciliation for a long period and at last by dint of continuous hard work of my team the same was fully reconciled.
