Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Dislikes

No major dislikes, for selection of consultant better to be more transparent. Do not select always the same person, because there are more talented in Nepal Market.

ADB funding leads to: 1. Time and cost overruns 2. Costy construction, inferior quality 3. Techno- econometrical justifications seldom planned, ad-hoc schedule of implementation/ completion 5. Poor geo- Hydrological investigations 6. Contractors cartelilised procurement, reason escalated costing and vested interests from ADB- KEIIP- KMC 7. No TPI and TPQ&SA. Done. Huge mobilization advances lying with contractors for years
