Dear Readers, I am compelled to share a poignant narrative on behalf of my esteemed friend, who encountered unsettling circumstances during her tenure with Aseema Foundation. Initially granted an English substitute teaching position, she was perplexingly compelled to deliver a math demo, despite her proficiency lying in English. Further astonishment arose when she was assigned to teach grade 2 math, a glaring mismatch with her expertise. To her profound dismay, she faced deeply distressing racist slurs on her very first day. Regrettably, her earnest report to higher authorities was met with inadequate empathy, leaving her feeling disheartened and unsupported. The toll of this ordeal on her mental well-being prompted her eventual resignation, as the organization's commitment to employee welfare was sorely lacking. May this heartfelt account implore Aseema Foundation to introspect, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive workplace for all.

The work for a cause which is the only good thing.

Dislikes

No professional development or ethical principles. HR also has no confidently. Person heading respective department has no manners to speak but still thinks he is the best and dominates people with 12+ experience. Still has very basic working style. Only freshers should join this organization and 1 who is interested in social service. No moral values. Very unprofessional and still expect people to be professional. They don't have proper office also. U will have to adjust yourself. No proper fans no facility for employees. People there trouble u mentally even after being in social fields. Taunting, dominating, bitching, gossiping is the day to day activity with tea. If any one has to experience unprofessional life spend 1 month as a social worker here u will get it all.. Pathetic. A bad idea to join.

The staff is friendly to build relations and make it a jovial environment.

Dislikes

Incomplete information given while joining and no scope for change because of the rigid thought process of the center head. Growth is very limited since it is biased. Working hours are long and the staff is not given much of importance.

There is not a single moment that I was happy to work with aseema. All my co- workers and myself experienced terrible work politics by the head of the department. Within 2 months I left the job and also saw 6 other teachers leave because of being so unhappy . Very very disrespectful environment for teachers.

Teachers are not respected by their department heads, the department heads always play FAVOURITISM... I couldn't stand working there more than 6 weeks , during this period I learnt throughout the year teachers keep resigning their job due to this shocking unprofessional behaviour of the department heads. During my stay of two months I saw 6 teachers leave. It is a TERRIBLE place to work.
