...managing partner from Middle east lacks understanding of Indian market dynamics. India office is treated as low-cost support centre for projects from Middle east, with employees treated as resources, who would travel weekly to Riyadh (working from Sunday to Friday) at extremely poor pay scales. Moreover, he has little respect for their consultants from India. The entry level salaries from college is comparable to MBBs. However, the compensation at higher levels post Senior Business Analyst level is even lower than likes of big 4. The management wants consultants who get promoted to leave, so they can keep their low cost model of serving Middle east projects by luring more junior resources at par salaries for 2 years from IIMs. They don't provide any opportunity for shift to Middle east, since they have to pay 5 times of the salary that they pay in India

There is a good Work-Life Balance. The team is young and vibrant making the office a great place to work.

Dislikes

Very Poor Appraisal process where your immediate superior has no role and appraisal is done ny some from outside the country who has no idea of the challenges and ground realities of the job profile. Frequent changes in the team and lack of experienced professionals.
