A truly apex quaternary care hospital of Armed Forces Medical Services with an excellent work culture. It has a skilful faculty, a good number of resident doctors, an academic atmosphere and state-of-the-art facilities. With more than 30 superspeciality departments on one campus, it provides exemplary healthcare to its clientele, i.e. Armed Forces personnel, their dependents, ex-servicemen and their dependents, and civilian defence employees of Armed Forces. It also provides comprehensive healthcare to Honorable President of India and his family members. It takes care of referred patients from numerous friendly foreign countries. At times overworked, it however provides great avenues for career enhancement. Proud to have been its Commandant and Director!

Dislikes

My third stint at this hospital was enriching and fulfilling. I had great colleagues to work with, and an opportunity to guide its future course in the years to come. I was also deeply impressed with its growth, development and excellent achievements over 22 years of my association with this great hospital that celebrated a centenary of its existence in some form or the other.
