It is well coordinated organised and a disciplined organisation akin to a huge family which nurtures the growth of an individual and prepares the individual to perform well in all operations of war and peace. One is mentally and physically trained and conditioned to handle any situation and plan and execute any task entrusted with great zeal.

Armed forces is all about patriotism and contribution towards serving the country with no parallels.Leadership and management are the bedrock of the armed forces. Serving in different environments and geographical sectors, dealing with internal disorders, natural calamities and protection of borders from external threats with efficiency is the hallmark of this elite organisation.More than anything else,it is the trust and confidence of the countrymen that makes armed forces stand apart.Growth and development does have certain limitations since this organisation has a pyramidal structure.Hence, there are super-cessions at every stage.Hence, there is a problem of brain drain and non-utilization of well organised, highly disciplined, efficient junior leadership in the competitive environment who excel in different spheres.
