Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...e balance is zero, the attitude towards the employees are like slave and master. With the amount of work the pay is far less and they also expect the employees to do a ton of make up, wear perfumes and buy expensive bags for work and with that payment lol. There is a high turnover rate, on average 7 to 8 employees leave this company in a year.

I have worked short period of time there and feel very good work culture and professional ambiance. There are lots of career opportunities for the students domestics as well as international. I am thankful to Mr. Aswin and Anmol for their valuable support while in the job.
