Likes

Good overall exposure for learning different skills. Owners are very good people. Company's Customer base is good. KRAs are well defined and structured. Good balance between home and work possible. Location is easy to travel.

Pay scale is very poor as compared to work done. Workload division between teammates is not equal. Too much office politics and grapevine. Appraisal are given on absolute bias basis only.

Nothing much. Company is strong in manufacturing water treatment chemicals. For other applications the company is far behind the competition.

Company owners were good, but managers , hr, everything is so corrupted. Only foot locking is required there to improve. Always gossiping is very important. No proper technical process. I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
