New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. My time at Aptino as a senior technical recruiter for three years was marked by a lack of promotions and salary increases. Despite my commitment and efforts, I did not see the career progression and compensation I had anticipated. This left me feeling undervalued and disappointed with the company's approach to recognizing and rewarding its employees' dedication and hard work.

Dislikes

I had an unfortunate experience at Aptino when I was abruptly asked to leave the company with immediate notice. This sudden departure put me in a difficult situation, especially when I needed an experience letter. Additionally, my experience with the team lead during my time there was less than satisfactory, which added to my overall dissatisfaction with the company.
