New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Hmm, this is difficult to find in this organization

Dislikes

The worst thing about this company is they can hold your salary at any point of time. You won't be left with any other option then either to go and consult lawyer or to the labour court. They are seriously lacking of the processes and the visibility which the directors don't have at all. The top level managers like VP, operations manager, they will just spoil your career if you don't take the right decision at the right time and that's to opt out from the company.

They just laid of whenever they want And there is no job security in this organisation When the appraisal Cycle Comes they just built environment that there is no budget that's why. We have to laid some people And because of that fear no one try to ask about sallery hikes Just terrible Organisation I have ever seen

Nothing for freshers only time waste

Dislikes

There is no growth in the company for the fresher. I joined here as a Java developer and they said that there will be training of three months and after that I will be placed as full time employee but now it's been eight months they haven't give me Full time employment and just paying me 4k per month and my CTC was 2.4 lpa
