...choose their favourite for plum projects and exposures and onsite opportunities. Compensation is good while joining, be prepared to do double the work based on your designation and team culture. There's a lot of politics at all levels, be prepared to get crushed and move forward if it's not your cup of tea. But if you spend two years then it starts getting easier.. you'll understand the political environment and learn to steer away from groups and individuals.. American bosses are the worst here, especially the one I got assigned.. literally made my life miserable.. but you'll meet talented and inspiring individuals along the way as well..

Too much bucketing culture. Your Indian Manager tells to obey/satisfy him and his boss as our appraisals are dependent on Indian Manager/Managers. Too much favouritism to their own state people. If it's a matured team, then there is no growth unless you have a good boss.
