Dislikes

Work-life balance is nowhere in this organisation. The owner (young son of the owner) will call you anytime and say you to come to office. Even it can be at 6pm. You have to spend at least 12 to 15 hours for working. Although the work pressure isn't that much there, still you just have to spend a whole lot of time listening some shits.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
