Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I am new for this industry. I learnt lot about printing and coating process.

Dislikes

No Job security , worst working culture of company, Lots of politics in company. Management response is zero. Clean drinking water not available in company. You have to purchase Mineral water jug in group. No proper toilet available for female worker.
