I did excellent work for initial 25 years.Handled naxalite problem all through. Detected sensational case.Imroved community policing .Created a good image of the police.

I like about working at Andhra Pradesh Police Department for these reasons : 1) while working at Police Station level i realised that one can do wonders if he/she has the will and interest to real work. He can detect all the crimes , take action against the culprits and help the victims to get justice in their cases. 2) Likewise at District level an SP can achive punishing the Criminals and help the victims to pursue their cases towards success. 3) I liked the opportunity to work in various departments like L&O, Security , Vigilance, CID and AP Police Academy. 4) I liked it because I felt it as a God given opportunity to the poor and needy people. 5) Finally Police department is liked because it is the visible government which controls the L&O, provides assistance and service to people at large in times of natural disasters and helps democracy to function.

Dislikes

Bossism, political interference and lack of sufficient police force to handle all the crimes reported at the Stations and frequent transfers of police officers etc.
