They promise good salary and promotion after 2 years of joining. Within 2 years they consume the juice and give transfer to a location where we are not interested nor can work.

Vest company nothing happens fast , very slow. Everyone passes time and talk rules.

Dislikes

Everything, canteen, work timings, no vehicles for staff movement, very poor welfare, bad accommodation, no budget for anything and many more

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
