...re going to washroom, you have to take permissions. 2. Zero medical convenience. Though they have casual leaves and sick leaves option but if you are absent for more than 2 days continuously, your salary won't be credited because the HOI will not approve your leaves giving you irrelevant reasons from the account office. 3. Salary issues are there. Strict timing issues are there, they have biometric machines which don't work properly and attendance is not regularized, resulting in deduction of salary. 4. I understand the importance of I'd cards but they have started taking financial perks. One has to pay Rs 5000/- for lost I'd card. 5. The assistance while interviewing is tooooo good but after your joining HR will ask you to go to one person, that one person will ask you to go to the second and the cycle continues causing you excess work load and irrelevant stress. 6. No matter what, even if you have an accident or some operation/surgery, you have to join the institute within 3 days, else monthly salary will be deducted. 7. Sandwich holidays are calculated and that is normal, but even if you are taking 2 holidays in a week (just assume 1 on Monday and 2nd on Wednesday), weekly salary will be deducted. 8. Their instruments does work properly but the assistance and liberty of using the instrument is not given. At times the lab workers lie about the instrument not working properly so that they don't want to work and you will have to go outside the campus for your work/sample testing which will eventually cause you financial loss. 9. Hell level of politics.

Actually thought a lot to find out a single pros, but I can't say any pros for Amity

It was a terrible experience working in Amity University. Ever since joined, there was no appraisal, benefits and compensation. Lot of unnecessary pressure other than work! They made people resign very often, even to very long time associated faculties. They set up meeting anytime and any day. No job security, no career growth, lot of politics! Overall it was wastage of my career and time working there.

Collegiate atmosphere with free-spirited and passionate students, mostly. Colleagues are like-minded, owing to similar degree of treatment.

.... Personal connections and favors are appreciated over capability and expertise. Hence the appraisals are according to that, which makes the salary even worse. Least infrastructure and funding for real good-quality research. Most of all, there are examples of everything good and top-class, but they are very very few and generally the situation is extremely dire. If one wants to be mediocre in everything, viz. growth, salary, work satisfaction, then this is the place!!

The way to proving salary is very bad. At the same level, faculties will be having a large difference in salary. Class conduction is just an show off. Neither students want to attend the class nor faculties over here, even Amity, Noida does not have sufficient number of classrooms for smooth conduction of classes. Everything is followed in academics in Amity, but only on paper. No real implementation is there due to a large number of responsibilities are provided to the faculty which are unrealistic in nature.
