Underpaid as compared to the workload. You have to take 6-7 lectures in a day. To complete the no. of lectures you have to take extra class.Lots of politics.Junior and senior culture.Stressful environment.HR policies are also vague.If you face any problem related to the department and inform HR about the same, no action will be taken.They don't promote research work.To get good appraisal you have to always say YES to your HOI.No job security,you can be fired any day and any time.Those who are thinking of joining AMITY please clarify your doubts before joining.

Salary is paid on time

Dislikes

Too much work and not enough staff. Excess of clerical works. Issues created in taking leaves allotted to an individual. HR role is absent and everything is at the discretion of the Head of Institute. Appraisal not happened in 2 years despite fulfilling all necessary criteria's. ZERO work life balance. Will call you for work on weekends and work overtime without any extra pay. Extremely pathetic.

University is research-driven. I get exposure to a different kind of academic accreditation, international conference, and symposium, publication indexing, etc.

the uneven salary structure on the same designation. The appraisal is not motivating.

Exceptionally Good Colleagues (Most of them are still suffering due to their wrong choice of the employer).

Dislikes

Low pay, not even 6th pay commission is followed; no reward and recognition for hard work and quality research; unethical practices and cheating in payment of gratuity and EL enacshment; No PF; Lot of sycophancy and nepotism required for career growth and promotion. A difficult place for an honest person to work. It's not a business school, it's a 'school for business'. No investment by promoters in educational and research facilities. Pure orientation on 'profit' in the guise of 'not for profit' organizational status.

Salary is credited on month 1st day. AC classrooms, 5 days working, swimming pool and 9 to 5 job

Dislikes

The way to proving salary is very bad. At the same level, faculties will be having a large difference in salary. Class conduction is just an show off. Neither students want to attend the class nor faculties over here, even Amity, Noida does not have sufficient number of classrooms for smooth conduction of classes. Everything is followed in academics in Amity, but only on paper. No real implementation is there due to a large number of responsibilities are provided to the faculty which are unrealistic in nature.
