I like the work culture here. Managers are good, HR is also supportive and top level management listens to the employees.

Dislikes

I dislike the year-end bonus factor which is like 25% of your in hand monthly salary. It is difficult to negotiate outside. Secondly, AWM&RVS department is the most pathetic department. The work that is done here has no value in other companies. Only 10% of the work force in this department has skills which matters in the industry, but the rest are qualified to work there only. They cannot switch to any other company and take a big jump in their salary. Bottomline: if you are looking for entry level job then only join AWM department. All the other departments are really good. They have relevance to the outside world. It is easy to get into AWM department and difficult to get into the other departments.

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

IT hardware and Infrastructure for employees needs to upgrade.

...g day to day work, completing assignments on time is not enough for promotions Salary are not as per market but good enough

The only positive think I could find is job security.

...e compensation model is also not very good. Beware of the component called LTDB. There is a big portion called LTDB (variable component) that makes you feel that you are getting a very handsome package. Package that your didn't even ask for, but later once you joined the company you got to know it's a myth, you will only get this component once you complete certain year in the company that to again some portion will go to future years.

Work life balances is good else if you in operations then it could be dangerous depending upon whom you are reporting too..

Previous leadership was amazing here One of the best leaders we have but now leaders has been change nd there pattern has been changed as well.. so if new leaders have something for you that you will grow for sure but if in case they don’t like you then it will be risky in terms of job security as well.. I am not saying overall Ameriprise culture is like this but yes many of them have this in nature You been judge on how you dress You been judge on how you work even you topping the chart You been judge on every single thing even if that thing hardly matters in office culture You dress code may define how responsible you are! Lol
