Good for people with electronics background since they are basically a firmware company. Job security. Good pay (for laterals). Flexible timings. No issues with leaves.

...nly people with slave mentality can work here. No proper training for freshers. Freshers are mapped to projects with irrelevant skillsets and exploited to the core with low salary and 3 years bond. Stupid and cringe-worthy appraisals. The culture doesn't feel like a software company at all. It's a glorified export company/factory. Here, more than your skills, the amount of Story Points you contributed (agile methodology), decides your worth. The client teams assign more work with less Story Points. And u have to literally beg them to get more Story Points. Coz here, not billing hours, but only Story Points go for client billing. Management gets mad if any of the stories are moved to next sprint. Notice period is 90 days and salary will be held during last 2 months of notice and settled only during full & final settlement. No WFH policy at all in general. Management & HR are forcing WFO. Think twice before joining, coz once u get in, u get suffocated and it's difficult to get out.

Job security is good. Good learning opportunity of you are in a good team. Compensation and hike is better percentage wise but since they start at a low package for freshers, the final amount in hand will be less.

They will not provide proper KT for new joinees unless asked explicitly or the person has to research about the code-flow, tools etc by thmeselves

The best part of this company is the learning opportunities. The company recruits mostly freshers only and a majority of development work is given to these freshers after a small training.This makes it great to learn by doing yourself.

After you get experienced like 3-4 years the pay scale is very very low compared to other companies. Also the team work culture is not very open as the team sizes are generally small.

Particularly I can say if you fall under Senthilraj Team, Please be ready to sacrifice all your dreams and your work in AMI is likely to be hell stay. 24/7 should work. No appreciation\appraisal and excepted to support on weekends.

... Politics are very high. There is no internal helping mentality between teams. There is no salary hike from last 2 year.
