Nothing like as np work life balance is there. Managers and leads are just asking for work whether eng is sick doesnot care

Dislikes

Every manager knows eng salary and bases on that they do their appraisal. No criteria for appraisal each team following different approach. I have been joined a year ago and still giving me explanation that you are not considered in PMP and the one who has got hike in july has got appraisal and bonus both. this is the favouritism going on.

Hello Friends, I can really benefit from your opinion I hv 13 years of experience. Out of which 9 years as technical and 4 years as Lead with little bit of technical. Now, I hv two offers A Leading Finanacial Institution as Kubernetes Manager (Software Development Manager) in Pune - Hybrid mode A mid sized Webhosting company as a Senior Technical staff - purely technical role - 100% Remote work Package is more or less similar. Later being on the lesser side. But the other benefits from the former is better. I am WFH since 2020. Have a setteled life in my hometown with wife and school going kids. Which role should I take that will serve me good in long term, Career growth wise and otherwise?
