Nothing. The management right now in Amazon Retail is pathetic. They will deduct ur salary, stop ur promotions, stop the goodies, wont give u any work, will through u to any random team without caring about ur career growth. Dont waste ur time and future.

Amazon as an organization is very good but the management at the org level are pathetic.

I have been with Amazon right after I graduated in 2019. This has been an amazing journey for me and being extremely honest, I never have thought of changing my organisation till now.

The salary for a few departments may be a little lower but then on that is also dependant on the role and level some one is joining.

Its a nice feeling when you work for Amazon. It cares for it's employees (as far as I know). The management (most of them) makes it's motives clear to their employees. Again it depends on the employee how they take it. The HR, the higher management is always available if you have any concerns related to work. Colleagues are great. It feels like home. Job security is always there when you work at Amazon. It believes in one thing: "Take care of your customers and they'll take care of you". I realized the importance of customer service and how it can serve as a backbone of any company. Thank you Amazon for all the memories.

New hiring is worst they don't even know how to build sentence. Promotion is almost pre-planned, less chances of promotion, salary will be capped after 3 years and then no increment, And bonus and rewards are nothing now . Amazon is no longer Amazon.
