...eadership should think about the employees who work hard before laying them off. But still it's a part of cost cutting which happens everywhere.

Amazon is my first company. I must say I am so lucky that I am working for a wonderful company with the great teams. I am really happy here and grateful. Working culture, work-life balance, peer relationship every thing is quite good and healthy. You will never feel tired.

... best to get good hikes and all. Then again HR is not known for heavy packages. If you hold here for maybe 4-5 years, then i guess you will get better pay and all I guess.

The pay and compensation is the best among competitors. You get to learn a lot because you are not restricted to your job profile, there are several projects and skills that are being used while working..

The work pressure has increased a lot due to recent layoffs.. the company's work life balance and culture has taken a u turn from the image they used to had.

No work life balance. Lots of intereference from the supervisors, micromanagement. No sense of security and confidence to express ourselves. This is only with a few talent acquisition teams like devices and consumers. Team culture is poor.
