Work from home facility I used to like but Amazon takes undue advantage of that by getting you lesser attention in every way. People dont know you so you wont get selected in promotion interviews.

The work environment is good.

Really bad management with hell lot of politics and no career development. The salary is good but you usually have a graveyard shifts. The managers are crappy and put a lot of pressure for working over time.You are given 30 leaves which you never get when you need cause your managers won't approve it.

Amazon paid salary on time and no compromise over compliance. I like both things

Dislikes

Amazon is a very good company but Third party employees are not feel safe due to contracting and third party employees growth is very very low

Pay is good for freshers and a good place to start your career.

Dislikes

Lack of career growth, no skill development opportunities. Only way to get promotion is by doing a minimum of 4 projects/process improvements. No recognition for the smaller teams and its members.

Except the Compensation nothing else is good,

senior managers need a target every year to terminate, no work ethics they do not know what KPI is and measured if 15 team members is there and all meet their targets which is productivity, no errors etc however is last in the stack is put on PIP Which is not ideal for the end user Scorecards that cannot be automated by the l4 manager is considered as a negative point and the manager is removed from the company
