Only the salary compared to other companies is "ok" not a huge difference but a very slightly better.

They asked us to select permanent wfh or wfo. People from different "States" selected permanent work from home after which they are now asking to move to Karnataka state only to work from home from there. Total torture and stupidity. Answer to why they are doing this is "business requirements" when asked. One more thing, if you have a bad imune system, you must not work at Amazon as you cannot seek promotion or any sought of growth or good apraisal being in Amazon as if you become sick, you will need sick leave. If you take sick leave, they call it UPL(Unplanned leave). If you take UPL, you are not even eligible for any interviews for internal promotions.

Initial package was good but there will be no hikes and completely based upon quality score which is done in biased manner

The worst they just use the efforts of employee in return they don’t even provide you conversion to full time internal politics no empathy no leaves

Company is good for freshers to start thier career. Adds weightage to your resume.

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is average and career growth is slow.

Salary is top notch. Really impressive Benefits. Communication is the most important factor. No job security if you're on contract role.

Contract roles are not secure. You may lose the job anytime. Performance is solely based on scores and not your talent. You fail to reach the performance target and you're out.

1. Lack of Support for Female Employees There were instances where concerns raised by women were dismissed or minimized and a general lack of sensitivity towards female employees was evident. I acknowledge that Amazon is a large organisation, these issues significantly impacted my experience and experience of other female colleagues. I believe, Amazon must address this issue.
