1. There is no work life balance. You have to work in rotational shifts and week-offs. 2. Favoritism prevails at Amazon, especially in terms of growth. 3. They terminate atleast 7% employees annually which is mandatory as part of the annual performance evaluation cycle. It is completely data based and not situation based. Leadership doesn't remove the hurdles in meeting the goals and later, put all the blame on you. Hence, no job security. 4. Most of the time, you will be working on repeated tasks. Hence, no skill development and work satisfaction.

In last 1 year, Amazon has changed entirely. Culture, employee concerned policies and job security has taken a huge toll. Certain teams like that if JWO and Pay has falling culture and mainly driven by few individuals rather then company policies.

The tasks assigned can be unrealistic owning to virtual set up. Please be very sure of the terms and conditions before accepting any offer. Usually, a huge desktop and laptop is sent and is an employee is expected to work on both simultaneously.
