Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Nothing was there to like about the company

Dislikes

...ees to come office coz the road which goes to office is worst at it's condition. In the name of salary they'll give 9-13k and they will just treat you like an slave and not as a employee. Left that worst company only in few months. Your life will going in hell if you'll go there.
