Overall, the job is just depicted to you in a dishonest way. The work isn't very intellectually stimulating, although they try to sell you on the idea that it is. It is essentially a sales job where you email, linkedin message, and call people. You receive a lot of pressure to perform, and despite the very sales-y nature of the job, management tries to make it seem like a high-level business workplace, which doesn't make any sense.
