They pay good

Dislikes

There are lot of dislikes. Especially, they do not care about your well being. No life at all. Favouritism is all over the teams. They fire very easily without caring about the family and career if the employee. Most important aspect is that, the work experience does not add any value to your resume. No one cares for the hard work you have done. If you escalate situations and people, then only you will be valued. Worst leadership. People who do not have content knowledge are leading people who have more subject knowledge. Finally, people who are working with the company now.... Better you start searching for good opportunity and say bye bye to this toxic work culture and useless work product.

No hectic work, good pay and bonus structure.

One has to market himself openly and boost about himself everyday. If you're a flamboyant person and can entertain people with your speech, dance and other extra curricular activities and can avoid work, then Alliantgroup is better choice.

Personally, only these two benefits can be considered i.e., Bonus and Pay. Honestly, sometimes rewards and bonuses given here are biased and very limited for a few people. I wish I could write anything good about this company. But not much to write.

1. In India, the entire AG employee's growth is calculated and measured based on CORE Values, not sure about the US, BUT in India, YOUR career growth IS MEASURED BASED ON THE CORE VALUES. The senior management leading individual team give ratings to their employees based on convenience and flexibility and everyone has their own favorites'. If you are the favorite, then you are appreciated if not you are nowhere visible to them. No matter how much you give to the team still you are unrecognized. The Company's core value is Transparency, Trust me the team leads HANDLING THE TEAM do not follow and abide by it, but they expect the same from their team members. 2. No Job Security: You are asked to leave the organization within an hour. They did not give you an explanation for why you have been removed. I personally have seen people who were the top performers for the quarter and gave their best to the team single-handedly manage the team, giving training to other teams but still, every inch of his/her work went unrecognized, and the person is removed from the team with no prior information/notice. There are some teams in India AG such as Tax Controversy Services (TCS) and R&D Tax credit team people are asked to leave the organization in an hour with no proper explanation. 3. NO CAREER GROWTH and EXTREME POLITICS especially in the TCS team. People handling the TCS team in India do not have any team management skills, and are inefficient in their work, and to the team. People managing and leading the team do not have any content knowledge and most of their work is copied and pasted from previous reports despite being the feedback provided by the US mentors and they try to degrade other people stating that you are inefficient for the work. Also, while working with one of the US mentors leading Indian TCS teams I could see that the person lacked professionalism and mentoring skills. The attitude towards their sub-team was not good and if you are not their favorite then you are not visible to that person. They do not come to meetings on schedule time and give work with shorter deadlines leading to mental and health issues for the person working for that respective team and person. Giving the right and constructive feedback helps the team to grow but in TCS team those are inefficient and conveniently the feedback does not go in a proper way and leads to detrimental to the employee. POLITICS is at an extreme level. Even the TCS Team HR is inefficient in its work and does not have a clear picture of the people's work. TCS team personalized HR is just good at firing people and lacks professional and his/her attitude is extremely bad towards the employees. 4. No professionalism and work-life balance in TCS: When it comes to work all employees give their best to the team. However, few TCS employees work late at night and get recognized and praised by senior-level people. The point to be noted here, the same senior-level people ask the employees not to work late at night and maintain their work life, but the people who work the whole day and submit the reports on time and do not work for extra hours, are always able to manage with the timings, they are unrecognized, and their work completely go wasted. No professionalism in the TCS Team. The timing is so bad 12 PM -10 PM Even after 10 you are asked to work for longer hours. work do not get completed on time and have very tighter deadlines. 5. Billing Issues: The TCS Team always faces difficulty with billing. Every employee is given a billing target to reach by the end of the quarter, but a few people who do not maintain or bill properly face some issues, and such people's billing is manipulated by the end of the quarter. This is highly insane and higher management says that the company abides by CORE values, but they do not. Billing is misled in this team and employees are removed conveniently with no proper instruction. I think the Alliant group should work more towards their employee to retain and also the reputation of the company.

You can get quarterly bonus if you are able to hit those really high targets by sacrificing your personal life on weekends and by doing back breaking hardwork

The R&D floor is an absolute mess. Lot of incompetent people have been made FR/memo reviews by their bosses. These people after becoming reviews make the drafters dance to their tune. No one can question them as it’s a very complicated and cumbersome process to check their quality. This leads to lot of mental pressure for drafters. The US management is least bothered about this. Anyways this doesn’t matter because this is a short lived organisation. Everyone on floor is searching for job all the time. Never join such a worthless place

This is a dead end job. They have the worst management and direction. Only those people who are willing to bow infront of the bosses will survive and will be favoured for promotions. No matter how talented you are you can not grow here. You need to learn how to appease your bosses. That is the most important thing. The R&D wing is not secular also because of few people at top. Became of their mentality. You see all the above mentioned things will be there in all the organisation, where ever people are, just that we are little bit unprofessional lot, you will find these a lot here. There is no place for honestly or diligence if you can bow down forget you have fundamental right. Then you will thrive here. Folks if you agree with me please upvote
