They would need to recruit an HR personnel when headcount increases. Overall the company has little or no negativity in it.

Most of the old employees left Alchemy. Things were not going too well with the management. The good thing is company now has a office in Kolkata. But that is of no benefit to employees.

...ompany and joined other big companies in research roles like Capgemini, PWC etc. Got better salary, work life balance. 3) Bonus - The management will give you 20-30% of your one month salary as bonus if your are the best resource. so if you make 25,000 as a senior analyst, your total bonus will be 25,000 for the year. But you get in hand only 2500 in hand, the rest will be kept with the company until next year. and if you leave the company, you will not get that amount. Just like they do it in a garage, they don't give the entire amount, or else the labors run away after taking the amount. 4) Politics - Extremely toxic. Durgapur office is very toxic. 5) Work culture - Very very poor. Its like working in a juice shop. You are treated like a labour/slave. 6) Not a good company for women. 7) Before joining ask the HR why the HR sends email late night, 1:30 am for eg. You will know what kind of a company you are signing up for. 8) No free transport, no childcare, no health insurance. No exit interviews. Very Hostile to people during the notice period. Not because of HR but because of management.

Initially, the company was good. Strong clients with interesting work. Team mates were supportive.

Dislikes

They hired the wrong people at the management level, which made a lot of talented people leave the organisation. The company was not good in terms of the benefits it provided, however, it was tolerable. The new management changed the work culture, forcing people to work on weekends uselessly, micromanagement with Associate Managers, bypassing the AMs and ordering/ criticizing the Associates. HR is not independent and so unable to tackle the employee-related concerns. So now the company has no benefits + difficult management to deal with + poor work culture. So I decided to leave my job with disappointment. They also ask people to give good feedback on review sites, which I found a little weird and funny. Location not very safe for women. And the reason why i say that is because, the location is a little remote, on a highway. No incidents as such happened though. If you want to join the company, take feedback from people who left the organisation.

Good company for learning. One can learn many things from scratch. If you have the mentality to take challenge in terms of work then go for it. However, in peak times like October to December or February to June work pressure remains high. Overall I can say its a good company
