Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

During the period that i stayed in Al Riyadh, I could say that it is a strong and a good company compared to other maintenance and operation company. But, now that they already change their management and I learned it from some of my collegues which are still working with them, their are now encountering a lot of problems based on the new management.

Dislikes

The condition that they offer to their ranking file employees... based on my experience, only those who are on the top line emplyees has the right to claim the opportunity to grow....
