The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. The company runs employment programs sponsored by Government. Colleagues are supporting and environment is friendly.

Compensation is average, but growth is too slow. Work pressure is negligible but management is missing, one day can be free of work other day will be hard job. Career scope is not bright.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
