Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

First of all I would like to clear it is not a company it is an institute polytechnic college or organization, where we are doing training over here for total quality management for better job security in companies. Here we get certificates of our training by perusing the courses, for one year six months etc. There are so many courses available, like TQM, INSTRUMENTS, SAFYTY, CIVIL, DISTRUCTIV TEST, ELECTRICIAN, Etc.
