Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Likes

Upto 2017, the company had some features. But after that it became terrible. South Division gives you freedom and independently work nature.

Dislikes

Especially North Division, is terrible to work under. No Respect, Dignity and Value towards employee. Very Ugly Leadership qualities. Work life balance is not at all there. Politics and Hate is in excess. Work timings are hectic and Stress at its peak. Avoid such bosses to work under.
