Please make sure one negotiate well on designation, salary, permanent status and other benefits before joining company as it can impact long term goal to stay with company and overall financial satisfaction. There is virtually no transparency with regard to the above mentioned points and one has to be very vigilant on the same failing which otherwise could lead to unsatisfactory overall package, position, status etc. With regard to work culture if one is operating with foreign clients then it is challenging and regarding as well. I don't have idea on working with domestic (Indian) projects in the Company as my Clients are overseas.

Dislikes

Virtually no transparency in salary, permanent or contract status or designation etc. Experience skills and past designation are not well considered during offer. Candidate had to negotiate strongly for his/ her own case and stay firm on the offering that one has in his / her mind.

Likes

KL office has 40 hours per week spread over four and half days with flexible timings.

Dislikes

75% of the resources are on contract and through agencies on the contracts like "No-Work-No-Pay". They don't consider human factors like during covid time, the physical office was locked down due to some reported covid cases and people had to return back to home and the management did not have any provision for contractual employees, etc.

Likes

Awesome company to work with, they give u good exposure & Opportunities for individuals growth. Very less politics. HODs are nice. Both onshore and offshore experience u can get. Also they give overseas opportunities for deputation.

Dislikes

Growth is good but compensation is low as compared to other companies. Buy still managable as u get job satisfaction and good family life.

Nothing to like about Aker Solutions. Fraud Company run by Mr. Rajesh Joshi, Mr. Sridhar Laxman along with HOD Swapneel Wagle, Finance & HR

...rson (experienced or young) along with Finance and HR team by doing politics. 2. Aker Solution never pay Super Annunciation though indicated in the offer. Finance people, HR, Mr. Rajesh Joshi, Mr. Sridhar Laxman along with HOD - Electrical Mr. Wagle is running big scam and enjoying employees money which company reserve under the name of SA. Some people has lodged the case in Labor Court for the same. 3. Finance people will never provide you HRA exemption by demanding the docs which are not required as per Income Tax Rule. Employees has made Complaint to Income Tax Dept and PMO office for the same.. Company is showing that employees are paying huge tax to GOVT by rejecting HRA exemption and getting tax exemption from Govt. 5. Electrical HOD Mr. Wagle has made the working environment very much toxic by mentally harassing newly joined people, bulling them compelling them to work for 12 hrs etc. Reason behind is Aker is employing the people through agency and there is money trail between recruiting agency and HOD Electrical along with TOP management people. I request experience and young engineer not to join this company Electrical Department.
