Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I had joined this job in 2000. I had only 2years experience in other company then I joined this company and thus company was at jaipur. I was trained in this for 2 months then after I knew all the work of store incharge post . This company was fully secured. This company was very best in my life . I took 22000+ salry from there. And I conserved may half life in it. But some reasons this company was closed by 2016. Now I missed that great opportunity now I am finding this type of job at NAUKRI.com.

Dislikes

I was at great platform in this company sometimes work was too heavy to do but I did "jaise taise karke" . I got appreciation email from manager that I had done best.
