Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Some of the seniors are very nice, if you get in a team with an experienced senior you will learn a lot. Exposure to all kinds of services in your domain.

Salary is very low Work timings are terrible NO WORK-LIFE BALANCE. The team lead can revoke your Saturdays off any time, even on Saturday morning.

A nice place to work with good appraisal and compensation.

Dislikes

Longer working hours with lots of pressure as unrealistic deadlines being given to clients and many a times, we are asked to work during weekend, so work life balance is really poor.

Partners are approachable and team is very supportive and understanding. There are lot of growth opportunities. Seniors make sure to help the juniors grow by giving honest feedback and guidance. Overall a good firm.
