Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

No work-life balance; employees are overworked with no appreciation. Pathetic pay that doesn’t match the workload or stress. Zero opportunities for career growth or skill development. Incompetent management that’s completely out of touch with employee needs. Toxic culture where employees are treated as disposable assets. Advice to Management: Start valuing your employees. Pay them what they deserve, provide growth opportunities, and hire managers who actually know how to lead. Without these changes, expect high turnover and a poor reputation.
