Hi All, During a job opportunity, when the recruiter asked for my expected CTC, I mentioned 12 LPA, as my previous job's fixed salary was 7.8 LPA. Now, I’ve been shortlisted for the Product Designer role and have learned from some sources that their maximum budget is 14 LPA. How should I approach the negotiation? Would it be reasonable to ask for 14 LPA, considering I initially stated my expectation as 12 LPA? The job is based in Gurgaon, and I have 4.5 years of experience. Looking forward to your advice!

A top to down management approach is killing the organisation internally. Timely salary a distant dream. Salary increment don't a taboo. No holiday. Even Sunday's people work. 24*7 working hour. The only thing I admired is the intense level of engagement with the local communities and quality of project intervention by the NGO. I worked here for over 4 years and acknowledged the dedication of staffs to work in the most challenging environment, where the management impose on your choice to eat only veg meals - is not this bonded labour?
