Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Group stratagies are very good by the chairman of the company (Al Ghurair).

Dislikes

It's terrible to work with this Facilities division especially with the changed organization. The old management was good and new management and their strategies are absoulutly utter and their encouragement towards employees found to be zero. Wrong people have been selected for key roles which effected the reputation of facilities division in the market.
