New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Salary hike I got fater 1 year was good

Dislikes

No work life balance, employes have to work 12 hours a day till late night most of the days, time given for animation is very less, salary is credited after 15th of month, Hr department is totally shit, they dont reply to the queries of employees properly, politics is there in the team, resigning process is worst, they dont pay their employess their fnf which includes their last month salary and dont even bother to respond of my employess asking for their fnf

They'll give you Skillshare licence and teach you

...ing daily because of WFH. Layoff overnight, without any notice. 6 days working. Salary will be credited on 45-50th day. 15th - 20th of next month and that too delays.

Nothing, would have given zero stars but that option is not available.

Dislikes

. No work life balance . Unrealistic deadlines . Salary never on time . Mass firings without any prior notice . They don't provide monthly salary slips . FNF settlements are not paid.

Nothing this company is fraud. They suddenly laid off me at the end of month and didn’t even pay anything. I got notice from them that I will receive till March 2023 it’s been more than 6 months haven’t received any penny

Fraud company. They laid me off in just 2 months without any reason and didn’t even pay my last months salary. I had mail them multiple times but received any response from them. And they always have openings but didn’t pay their employees any penny. Its a fraud don’t work here

Dislikes

...re than 6 months haven't received single penny of my 1 and a half month work. They laid off multiple employees without any notice just before the salary day. Haven't received anything from them apart from false promises.
