Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Dislikes

First they hire you at low salary gives you hope that they will increase it after probation but it doesn't happen. They only hire freashers so there is no chance of learning you have to learn things by yourself. There are just a copy paste day to day operations and you literally have no chance of getting experience. Work culture is really toxic there and this is why they are losing employees and worst part is the office politics there and the hiring department is mess.
