Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The company is a public company . It is manufacture , trading and import & export company for scrap like HMS, Aluminium & Copper etc, The reputation of the company is well, Good behaviour with clients, self staff and all others. Bank relation is good. All type legal, and all other expenses paid on timely.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. so i have to take back my suggestions most of the times.
