Due to privacy reasons, i can't tell in which department I have worked, but I'll give detailed info about company, if you are a fresher then there are many mechanical concepts you will be learning in-hand

Dislikes

company is always in losses and you are indispensable, if you are recruited for quality or production you will be working 12hrs a day, if you come for dispatch then you'll be leaving at 6am as dispatch happens only after 12am, if you have more than two years of experience or already have a job then please don't join and waste your time, you'll get your previous month salaries after 17th of this month get prepared for that, as in every company even here you'll have to deal with religious politics, you'll have only 12 leaves a year i.e 1 leave a month, you will rarely get a Sunday holiday

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
