Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology.I love the fact that i am a part of a team that markets reliable. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds,and we work happily in collaboration .I also like the employee policy here.

Dislikes

The work pressure is very high sometime.i have to work 10-14 hours straight ion a day as i have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night.
