...romise you something and give you something nothing is good about the company. Big people with big salary stays and lay off those who have 10 times smaller salary . else we can hire 10 staff in that one HOD salary. And when you go for interview in some other Accor hotel the GM insult you and your qualifications and then says sorry we are looking for some other talent and sorry for bothering you. Atleast give positive response regarding job so that individual do not losse hope with self and his life as he have a family to feed.

I was a management trainee and was with Accor from 5 years and I believe I was born in the Accor but gradually learnt that it is a best place to learn politics and grow your self as a bad politician . In bad time like covid company made some lay off due to pandemic and promised that we will get you back . what a joke it's been a year people are job less. Some other competitors like Marriott they have a policy they will hire there own staff first in this pandemic what a brilliant idea to save life of loyal staff. I believe whole senior management is busy making money for them self atleast see for the people who made you and your company to that level where you stand up now

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality products and has a global client base. As a result, I get to travel abroad, especially to the US and Canada. But on-site travel is completely dependent on your project and client’s location. Mine is a US based client and they have some offices in Toronto, hence I got a B1 visa quickly. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, and we work happily in collaboration. I also like the employee re-hire policy here.

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.
