Lot of politics to get through for any new role and promotion. Compensation is lower than what one should get outside. You will have to try really hard to get role which you would like to work for getting good technology experience.

But after joining later FY promotion and hike are terrible, no consideration for promotion or hike etc No response from hr or manager team, and no respect to genuine employees.

If you get a good project with good people you are sorted and so is your compensation and promotion. The policies, Tech and everything else is top notch.

Managers control you promotion and compensation and so you have to be a licker to be in their good books.
