... rasicism by certian individuals within some of the department managers / VP. 3. Career growth is verly limited combined with no pay raise ( in 5 years there was 0 incriment given). 4. KPI setting is only based on business growth , personal development is not considered , as personal development index remains the same.

Stable job. Skill enhancement training

Dislikes

No financial growth. No Framework to quantify performance of resources. Poor resource utilization. Uneven distribution of workload among resources. Low quality resource hiring that results more pressure on performing individuals.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
