Salary is a bit par market value AIC is located in whitefield and where commute is a bit problem. If metro ready this will ease out Some process take too much time

-Engineers will get short business travel opportunities since ABB doesn't provide daily allowance or onsite salary for short business trips. As there is no extra pay people consider business travels as more irritating than helpful in their career.If daily allowance is given then I feel even the engineers will not get this opportunity.So it's good that management is not giving any extra pay for short business trips. -If you are a hustler without proper technical knowledge then this place is meant for you. -You will be in good position if you know to play mind games and be politically active at work place -They encourage workers to take more leaves on yearly basis since half of your leaves will lapse and will not be counted for the next year -Also join here if you just want to work and get paid. Don't keep any high expectations related to promotions and opportunities since every team has 1 person that the management has already figured out to push him to better position and authority. So don't expect any fair play based on hardwork or technical abilities or even leadership qualities. Be nice with them so that you get paid with your salary.

...ssionals compared to people with more experience in ABB - Freshers or mid entry professionals please be aware to keep your salary information as confidential as possible but anyhow if your team mates get jealous about your income then you will have a tough time -

Overall polices are good if you are full time employee of ABB, nice work culture and environment.

Dislikes

Please do not come on third party contract unless you need job desparately. Contractor takes cut from your salary and pays very less to you. No job training or any benefits to contract employees. Don't fall in trap that you will get on roll in ABB after some time success ratio is very less.

Work Life balance is very good in ABB. Team mates and leaders are doing good job. travel policies are very well defined and is helpful for employees. Training and skill development process is good in ABB.

Salary and growth is slow rest it is good place to work
