New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

The Company's OHLA concept is very good. Recent changes leads to get confidence in employee for better future aspect and which further goes for company's financial stability in short time. Good opportunity to learn from over seas facility. If you are genuine and career oriented than it gives you the best platform to show case your ability, strength.

you get opportunity to deliver your skilled but same time Compensation is low. Recognition policy needs more strengthen and more employee friendly with which employee can benefited.

Work life balance is the only positive thing I experienced

Dislikes

A Schulman India Pvt limited is driven by the APAC Management having very limited knowledge about Indian market. The company culture is spoiled by the politics, nepotism and favouritism. A good professional can not work in this company for a long term. The company is not making profit even after five years of starting operation due to wrong business strategy and high turnover of people due to politics and poor treatment. .
