...work environment and culture. The management is transparent and very supportive. It's a school for me where I got experience and many things, appraisals and salary hike every year. Aosmith HR policies are great.

Aosmith HO office in Bangalore is very good work environment and HR Is very good. But sad part is in West Bengal there is very very very much politics and partially in ground level. Mr. Surendra nath Bhatak (Sales Execuitive)is not at all a good person or good collegue and not fitt for any organisation. Only his job is to buttering to RM and BM . RM /BM not only blindly believe on him. He is the only person wB not growing as a team. Or WB buisness could be better but he is the main reason for WB attrition. HR should take feedback from ground level like inshop promoters , supervisors and dealers .

There is huge partially in ground level in WB. Sourendra Bhatak (Sales Execuitive) not at all a good collegue , he is the main reason of attrition in WB and guwahati. Good resources leaving company or forced to leave only because of his politics.HR should take feedback from inshop promoters, TLs and dealers/distributors .

Great Manager, offers a scope to groom and develop myself. Open company culture, flexibility.

Dislikes

Location is outside city limits. Although company provides pick and drop cab facility, it gets too hectic to travel around 100 kms everyday.

Teammates are good but a lot of conversation happens in regional language, have not undergone any training was pulled out of the orientation midway for regular work, career growth is redundant unless you are a Shark, travel is hectic, the company expects to work on alternate Saturdays, politics thrives, the work environment is physically & mentally exhausting & there is no work-life balance.

Dislikes

No Top-down approach, Teams work in silos. ERP is very basic and most work is done manually. Growth potential is limited. Management is very rigid to ideas and investments for improvements of overall operational betterment. Bureaucracy is too much and the company is suffering due to over-designed standard operating procedures, there are boundaries for every job and to get a work done is reminiscent to that in a Government department.
